All of GVB public transport is cashless. You can only use a bank of credit card to buy a ticket in the tram, (night) bus or on the Noordzeekanaal ferries (PIN or contactless). You can pay using one of the following cards: V-pay, Maestro, VISA, Mastercard, JCB, Diners Club, Union Pay, and American Express.
